Insurance & Policies

Session and Fees

Sessions are typically 50 minutes. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to discuss your needs and to determine if I am a good match for you. I have a standard fee that I am happy to discuss with you by phone or email, or during our consultation. 

Insurance

I am an “out of network” provider for PPO insurances. Although I require payment at time of service, I will provide you with a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for a partial reimbursement. I recommend calling your insurance company prior to starting therapy, to find out what they cover.
Key questions to ask are:

  • Do I have mental health coverage?

  • What is my deductible?

  • Is it Individual or Family deductible?

  • Have I met my deductible? If not, how much have I met?

  • What is my responsibility per session once deductible has been met?

  • How many sessions will be covered per calendar year?

Payment

I accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards.

Cancellation Policy

Once we schedule an appointment, you will be responsible for payment unless you provide 48-hours advance notice of cancellation or reschedule. I do understand that this is not always possible, in the event of emergency or unforeseen circumstance.
